Without funding from the Welsh Assembly's Communities First programme many current initiatives would not have been possible. The Department of Enterprise Innovation and Networks (DEIN - formerly Welsh Development Agency) has also been a great supporter of our work to date. The Urban Community Initiative which led to the creation of the Trust was led and driven forward by the City and County of Swansea. The Council remains a central partner as we look ahead to the next phase in our development.

In 2004 we were invited to exhibit as part of the United Nations Best Urban Practice event in Barcelona. We were the only Welsh project to have received this honour and were one of just 3 project from the whole of the United Kingdom to have been asked.
